We provide high quality firewood sourced directly from our own tree work projects. Here is detailed information about the type of wood we offer and the processes we use to prepare it.

Recycled Wood From Our Projects

We take pride in providing high-quality wood sourced and recycled from the tree work that we carry out. Whether it’s removing dead, dying, or dangerous trees, or taking down trees as per customer requests, we ensure that every useful piece is selected and prepared to meet your needs.

Hand-Selected Cuts

We filter through our wood and only keep high-quality pieces and varieties. Some of the types of hard wood you will receive from us are anything from sycamore, hornbeam, beech, oak, ash, and elm.

While our focus is hardwood, we do also keep some softwoods, which we mix a small amount into our deliveries and bags. The softwood wood we keep will only be of the best quality. We like to mix in some silver birch or alder, but there won’t be much. Fruit wood would consist of apple, cherry, and pear.

The Drying Process

Proper seasoning is essential for ensuring that firewood burns efficiently and with minimal smoke. We follow a meticulous drying process to deliver wood that is ready to use upon delivery.

All our wood is seasoned naturally in dry barns or waterproof outbuildings. These buildings have plenty of air flow to facilitate the drying process. We regularly check the moisture readings of our wood. This ensures that it is ready to burn before being delivered to you.

By following these practices, we ensure that the wood not only meets but exceeds your expectations.

We can not praise and recommend Troy and his colleagues enough.
Troy came  round to have a look at the work we required, we received a quotation after a few days and were fortunate to have the work completed the following week. The chaps worked hard and quickly all day. Within three days are old hedge was out, roots removed and new fencing in! Fantastic job, and we are thrilled with the fence. I used Troy’s company  for a stump grinding and some limb removal of another tree. All work was carried out efficiently and tidily and  I was very pleased with the results.  Troy was very punctual on the day the work was done and the day he attended to give me a quote ( something that rarely happens these days and was greatly appreciated.)
