Crown Reduction
A crown reduction aims to make a tree smaller whilst preserving its structure so it can regrow in a balanced, aesthetically pleasing, and natural manner. It is one of the most common types of work we do on trees that are being kept and maintained.
When reducing trees, our goal is to minimise the tree’s reaction to pruning while meeting the client’s objectives and adhering to industry guidelines. Tree reduction is particularly necessary for trees that block sunlight, grow near obstructions like telephone cables, or are located in small back gardens or public areas.
